1. Plan to have your child/ren spend time with their Dad on Father's Day
Let kids be kids. Children typically love both parents and should be encouraged to enjoy time and celebrate their Dad or the father figure/s in their lives on Father's Day.
2. Let your child/ren celebrate everyone they wish to celebrate
Dads, grandfathers, father figures, step dads, bonus dads and everyone in between.
3. Help your child/ren put together a small gift
You can make sure your child has some spare change to purchase a little gift for Dad if their school is having a stall or get creative - help kids make a card, draw a picture or create a little video to give or send to their Dad.
4. Show a little Flexibility
Try to work around any special celebration so that your child/ren don't miss out.
5. Keep it a happy day
Try not to over think it and keep things simple.
