I'm Shelby Timmins, the heart and soul behind Divorce Done Differently.
Before stepping away from traditional legal practice, I was an Accredited Specialist in Family Law.
I have over 18 years of family law experience, much of this at one of Sydney's most respected family law firms. Realising I wanted to practise outside of court and in a more family friendly way, I stepped away from practising law and established a boutique dispute resolution business, Divorce | Done | Differently.
I hold a Masters of Law from the University of Sydney, I am a Nationally Accredited Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Divorce and Conflict Coach, Parenting Coordinator and Collaborative Professional.
I am now a faculty member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Vice President of the Collaborative Professionals NSW and founder and President of Southern Sydney Collaborative Professionals.
Watch this space as I am currently writing a divorce book for children, everything they want to know about their parents' divorce but are too afraid to ask.

Her hope is to support people who are going through a separation, to feel informed and supported and to work together to look at separation and divorce in a respectful and family focused way.
Catherine Parks
Catherine has recently joined Divorce Done Differently, offering her services as a Mediator.
Catherine is a Mediator and Collaborative Law Practitioner, as well as a practising Accredited Family Lawyer. Catherine is passionate about assisting separating or divorcing couples resolve their family dispute without going to court.
Paniz Yazdi
Paniz is our newest member of Divorce Done Differently, offering her services as a Mediator.
Paniz is a Mediator and experienced family lawyer. Paniz is committed to helping individuals and families find amical resolutions to their disputes without the need to go through costly and lengthy litigation.
Katherine Aitken
Katherine is a marketing professional with 25 years' experience in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategy across a broad range of industries from large corporate organizations to small business.
After having her three children she moved to consulting allowing her to work with a number of businesses to help them achieve their goals.
Starting with Divorce Done Differently in 2022 she is here to support and help the DDD team with business development and operations.
Kathryn McCallum
Kathryn comes to Divorce Done Differently with over 20 years experience in a variety of senior administration roles such as Executive Assistant, Office Manager and Practice Manager.
After the birth of her second child Kathryn left corporate life and started her own Virtual Assistant business which is how she came to work with us here at Divorce Done Differently.
Kathryn provides assistance to Shelby and our team for all things administration and is also our Course Co-ordinator.
